Officepools is one of the longest-running Canadian pool sites, with almost every format there is: box, draft, dynasty, survivor and more. It charges per pool by team count, and removing ads is a separate add-on. If you only need a playoff pool, a simpler and cheaper option may fit better.

## Who should stick with Officepools

- You run a **regular-season** or **dynasty/keeper** pool. We only do the playoffs.
- You want **box pools** or survivor formats.
- Your pool has been there for years and the members like it as is.

## Who Office Hockey Pool suits better

- You want a **playoff** pool with no ads for free, or one flat $29 for up to 500 entries.
- Your members are on phones and want a clean, quick sign-up.
- You'd rather pick from four simple formats than configure dozens of options.

## Switching for the playoffs

Most pools start fresh each spring, so switching is mostly sending a new link. [Create your pool](https://officehockeypool.ca/pools/new), paste your rules into the announcement, and invite last year's group. On the Pool Pass you can export standings as CSV at the end.
