Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account: your name, email and a hashed password.
• Pools: pools you create, entries, team names, picks, rosters and draft picks.
• Payments: if you buy a Pool Pass, Stripe processes the card. We keep only the payment record (no card numbers).
• Usage: a random session id and page path, so we can count visits and see which pages lead to sign-ups. No advertising trackers.
• Contact: what you send through the contact form.

Who can see what

• Members of a pool see each other's team names and standings, and each other's picks once the pool locks.
• Your email is never shown to other members.
• The commissioner sees entries and their own paid checklist.

Service providers

• Stripe (payments)
• Resend (account emails)
• Our hosting provider
• A sports data provider for scores and statistics (it receives no personal data)

Data may be processed in Canada and the United States.

Your choices

• To get a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account, email hello@officehockeypool.ca. We reply within 30 days.
• Marketing email is opt-in and every message has an unsubscribe link.

Retention

Pools are kept so members can look back at past seasons. Deleting your account removes your entries and personal details within 30 days, except payment records we must keep for tax law.
